Experience
I currently teach English online and tutor Chinese students ages 5-13. I also tutor adults and business professionals privately. I was a writer and comedian in Hollywood, California for the last ten years. I wrote a television sitcom pilot that was a finalist in "The World Series of Screenwriting" Competition in 2014. I performed stand-up comedy at the World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, California. As well as, the Hollywood Improv, and iO West Comedy Theater on Hollywood Blvd. I want to be a tutor because I wanted to do something more rewarding with my life. I would like to share my love for the written word and the English language with my students and prepare them for a brighter future. I chose to teach in Roma because I have always wanted to live in the Eternal City and speak fluent Italian ever since I was a child. I'm still working on my Italian but it gets better each and every day. I live by the philosophy that "Learning should be FUN because learning IS fun!" So let's make it fun! :)

Hobbies
I love playing the electric and acoustic guitar. I have been playing a few hours a day for the last 20 years. My biggest influences are the Dave Matthews Band, the Beatles, and Led Zeppelin. I love astrobiology and learning about the Cosmos because the Universe is beautifully miraculous and infinite. I love the Italian language because it is the madrelingue of my ancestors. It is also, in my opinion, the most beautiful language in the world. I want to speak fluent Italian by the time I return back to California next year. I love reading Calvin and Hobbes comic books and EVERYTHING Batman. Hollywood movies have played a huge role in my life and I have found ways to effectively incorporate them into my lessons. My favorite shows (because of their ingenious writing) are: Friends, Seinfeld, Modern Family, and LOST.
