DITALS Certified - Official certification recognized worldwide for teaching Italian. My certification covers levels A1-C2 and it also includes a particular emphasis toward teaching Opera professionals and lovers. City & Guilds 7303 Certificate for teaching a foreign language. Maturità Classica (Humanistic Studies including Latin and Greek). Masters Degree Aerospace Engineering.
Experience
I started teaching at Queen Mary University of London in 2001, to A1-A2 level students. I then took formal trainings both at City Lit in London, gaining a Certificate for Teaching a Foreign Language, and in Italy where I obtained the DITALS Certification, a cultural title awarded by the “Università per Stranieri di Siena” that certifies the possession of the theoretical and practical competences needed to fulfill the role of Teaching Italian to Foreigners. I taught classes to A1-A2 and C1 levels as part of the DITALS Certification training program and over the years I have been focusing mostly on private tutoring to individuals and groups.

I'm an actress, an aeronautical engineer, a traveler from Rome. I love teaching my language and thanks to my acting studies in voice and speech, and my specialization in the Italian language used in Opera, I can particularly focus on pronunciation and more archaic forms of Italian. I teach because I want to empower you to find your own unique Italian voice! "Tutte le strade portano a Roma" - "All the streets lead to Rome", and by this I mean that we will come up with a learning experience based on your distinctive personality, taste, skills, background, interests, to help you cross the bridge from where you are now to your Dolce Vita vision!
